Workshop 2.3: Working With OCPD & OCD

Online from 8 am to 12 noon UK time on each day

About the Course:

A deep dive into Obsessive Compulsive Personality Disorder (OCPD)  :
On this workshop we will cover the Description & Aeriology, Associated Modes, formulate a case conceptualisation, learn a treatment approach and practice exercises you can take straight back to the therapy room

Videos, Demonstrations & Exercises and Videos to support learning will include 

Empathic Confrontation of Perfectionist overcontroller(start of therapy)
Empathic confrontation of perfectionist overcontroller(middle of therapy
Obsessive-compulsive overcontroller – Reviewing pros and cons
Demanding parent – imagery rescripting
Happy Child – pushing for spontaneity
This Workshop can be attended as part of Workshop 2 or  as a standalone to top up your existing knowledge of Cluster C Modes.   If you have never attended previous schema workshops it may be helpful to initially attend our next Introduction to schema therapy.

Please note that a minimum of 6 attendees are required to run this workshop.

About the Course Presenter

Mandy Walsh is a fully certified Advanced Schema Trainer and Supervisor for both Individuals and Couples. She is a full member of the International Society of Schema Therapy (ISST) and an active member of the Schema Couples Therapy Special Interest Group & the Schema Therapy Organisational Development Group. Mandy brings her passion and energy for schema therapy into the training room which enables those attending her workshops to learn the models and techniques which they can take straight back to the therapy room.

About the Course Co-presenter

Dr Anastasiya Lovegrove is a chartered counselling psychologist, CBT and focusing-oriented therapist, and an ISST accredited Schema Therapy Supervisor/Trainer. She has worked in mental health charities and the NHS for almost 10 years, predominantly working with people experiencing depression and anxiety symptoms, psychological effects of recent traumatic episodes and individuals who experienced childhood neglect/traumas leading to reoccurring interpersonal challenges and difficulties in regulating emotions in their adult lives.
